Upbit partner KBank to test onchain cross-border remittances with Ripple

KBank and Ripple launched a proof-of-concept for onchain cross-border remittances, completing phase one's wallet verification. Phase two tests stability for transfers to UAE and Thailand using Ripple's Palisade app. The partnership may expand to KBank's live remittance system ahead of South Korea's Digital Asset Basic Act. This strengthens Ripple's regional presence as major Korean financial institutions embrace blockchain infrastructure.
